King Mog or Mog Minister will exchange various rewards for special currency within the event period. You can obtain this currency by defeating enemies inside the event vortex dungeon. Using the following bonus units will increase the amount of currency received in the vortex dungeon. The bonus is cumulative so you can use as many as you can, including one from a friend companion.

Story

The name of the world - Ivalice... An age of war has arrived and the Archadian Empire, a mighty military power, has conquered many of its surrounding lands.

There among the lands is Dalmasca, a small country where a young man who dreams of the skies meets a sky pirate who soars freely through them, and a young girl - the princess of Dalmasca, who seeks the power to liberate her land from the Empire.

Tips

• See testimonials and discussions.
• Battles against all the mobs can be avoided by using Escape or Smoke, since they all drop 1. It is only the bonus mobs and the boss mob that drop greater amounts of flowers.
  • The Producer's Jacket is an easy way to gain access to Smoke, and Escape is the TMR of Paul, a fairly common friend point unit.
• Using water element weapon or water physical skills (such as Onion Knight) will make the battle a lot easier.
• Do not use any magic (including white magic and Libra) for the last battle, as Salamand Entite will retaliate with a strong AoE fire attack.
• Bring sleep resistance on key units (and silence resistance if you need it) to guard against Sleepga and Silencega. Active abilities that grant the party status ailment immunities work just as well.
• The Yensa uses a mechanic that allows it to attack randomly without regard for Camouflage or Draw Attacks passives, as well as ignoring any active increased targeting like Provoke.
• Since almost all of Salamand Entite's attacks are fire-based, a damage unit that can provide strong fire resistance to the entire team (such as Onion Knight or Silvia) can allow a more versatile or offensive team by foregoing the use of dedicated supports or a tank. This is especially helpful if you are trying to maximize bonus units.
• Using Carbuncle's Ruby Light or Marie's limit burst, on the first turn will offer a greater amount of time to get your debuffs/buffs set up for the following turns.
• For LGD, Mystea or Basch with fire resistance will make the last battle significantly easier.
• On LGD, the regular mobs for the first few waves hit hard, so be prepared to heal if you cannot kill them in one turn.
• More than one bonus mob may appear in a given wave, or run.
• Urutan-Yensa can appear in ADV, PRO, ELT, and LGD dropping 1,000 on defeat.
• Pineapple can appear in ADV, PRO, and ELT only, dropping 500 on defeat.
• ELT drops 17 per NRG before bonus.
• LGD drops 17.125 per NRG before bonus.
• LGD has a higher spawn rate of bonus monsters compared to ELT.
