The spirit of a human who died with unfinished business. Unable to pass over to the next realm, it became a monster. Spirits of those with extreme jealousy are said to become yellow souls. A yellow soul's jealousy does not dissipate after its transformation into a monster. The joyous laughter of the living or simply the fact that they have lives can cause a yellow soul's jealousy to explode, giving it the urge to attack any living humans it encounters, in order to force them to join it.
