A hero from another world where tales of the crystals are told. Although Gilgamesh once served Exdeath, his continuous failures get him sent to the Interdimensional Rift as punishment. Having crossed swords with Bartz and his friends multiple times, he eventually grows fond of them and even receives them like old friends when they arrive to the Rift following his time isolated there. He momentarily parts from them afterwards, but comes back to support them in their fight against an evil demon.
