A large spider with striped pattern on its back. these spiders are known to make their nest underground. Tsuchigumos coexisted with humans as they consumed insects and pests that brought harm to the fields, but a rumor spread about a tsuchigumo transforming into a female to consume a farmer, so they were hunted and killed with out proper investigation behind the truth of the rumor. Since then the tsuchigumos see humans as enemies, and will attack upon the sight of humans.
