Introduction

Overview

Valentine Event

This is an exploration event which requires no farming. Simply clear all stages to obtain all the rewards. You can't use Lapis revive to continue after being defeated in the ELT stage. The exploration map is the same for all stages but treasure chests have different rewards on different stages!

Story

Once a year, the Trials of Love appear in the Dimensional Vortex.

Thought of as a test of true love, friendship and camaraderie, only the most faithful can survive! You will come to know your true partners, and find rich rewards that await you, should you be successful in overcoming the trials! Be warned... for the road to true love is one of great hardship...

Community Event

An additional community event is running throughout event period. See the Facebook page for more detail: Community Event: Trials of Love

All players will get rewards depending on the total comment or helpful tips by the community. Below are the rewards and designated milestone tiers:

Event Tips

Elemental Weakness for Light and Dark routes

• There is a massive spike in difficulty from ADV to ELT (no PRO difficulty)
• If you only have Light or Dark Element type you can choose a path and not kill all the side bosses.
  • Light Path: Left(Manasa) -> Up(Neith) -> Right(Herne) -> Up(Limnad) -> Up(Abraxas)
  • Dark Path : Right(Huitaca) -> Up(Neith) -> Left(Cagn) -> Up(Limnad) -> Up(Abraxas)
• You cannot use continues in this event, so be sure to come prepared with Raise magic or Phoenix Downs.
• Consider bringing a green mage, or Cloud of Darkness to mitigate elemental damage taken.

  • Double Break Breath - Magic AoE 210% Fire & Ice Element, -50% ATK/DEF for three turns. Can be cast 4+ times in one turn, if unlucky.
  • Aurora Bite - Physical Light Single Target 260%, -50% MAG/SPR debuff for three turns, 30% Blind, 50% Paralyze (2 hits).
  • Dragon Voice - AoE Break ATK, Break DEF, Break MAG (40%), Break SPR (40%). Will only trigger on Limit Break or Esper Summon (even when LB/Esper does no damage).
  • Swallow - Instant Death to Single Target. Used every 4 turns. If Abraxas is damaged with Magic he counters with 2x Swallow every 3 turns as well.
  • Sinister Headbutt - Phys Dark Single Target 230%, 80% chance Disease (4 hits)
  • Release - Magic AoE 400%, 100% Blind, Silence (5 hits) Used on next turn after 70%, 50%, and 30% thresholds. See thresholds below.
  • Headrush - Physical Single Target 230%, 50% chance Paralyze (4 hits).
  • HP Thresholds- At 70%, 50%, and 30%, Abraxas will use Double Break Breath + Sinister Headbutt and End Turn. The next turn, Abraxas will use Release and End Turn.
