A gigantic purple bird that was thought to be in the zu family, which uses its huge wings to unleash whirlwind attacks. Though it doesn't appear before humans much as it prefers areas so full with miasma so full that humans can't even move, some have been spotted around human settlements. To spot a tonadu, flying through the sky letting out is creepy cry, is seen as a horrifically bad omen.
