A monster born of the remains of the unmourned dead. They are granted a temporary sort of life by necromancers who delight in toying with the dead and demons who are drawn to their sorrow. The former use skeletons to do their own bidding, while the latter find it amusing to make skeletons attack living humans. The only way to bring peace to these sad creatures appears to be to destroy them so thoroughly that they cannot rise again.
