All this points to a past which, given the comparatively peaceful state of Olderion, is surrounded in mystery as to how and why she became a pirate.

Even in Olderion, a country considered to be fairly prosperous, there exist poor areas. It is from these areas that she gathered ruffians to patrol the seas with her, usually preying on those who flaunt their wealth.

Born to a wealthy merchant family, she lost all but a single ship when her family's business collapsed which she filled with criminal ruffians before beginning her life as a pirate.
