Overview[]
Final Fantasy X Event
This is an exploration event with a unique butterfly mechanics, see more info. Exploration map is shared between all stages but has a higher difficulty as one progresses further until the entire map has opened to the most difficult stage. Any chest opened will stay open in other stages.

Treasure Map & Battle Info[]
Touch color-changing butterfly to spawn a chest and more butterflies. Touching blue butterfly will give you Blue Butterfly Powder and touching them all will spawn a treasure chest. Touching red butterfly will prompt you into battle, dropping Red Butterfly Powder.
The butterflies will only spawn on specific stage and the last stage, ELT, where they all appear. Leaving the butterfly area will make them all disappear.

Event Tips[]
- On the ELT map there will be larger red butterfly spawns which, once touched, begins a mini-boss battle vs a Chimera with greater stats and resistances. Be careful as it is not as easy to kill. It is immune to DEF/SPR breaks, but susceptible to ATK/MAG breaks. You may encounter this mini-boss more than once per run.
- Chimera will appear after touching the red butterfly with a significantly larger silhouette. Picking regular sized red butterflies will result in a fight against Iguion.
- ADV stage is the best stage for farming megacrysts, guaranteeing two for 7 Nrg while still giving powder.
- After touching the color-changing butterfly, touching the red butterfly will trigger a battle which would grant you red butterfly powder at the end, while touching blue butterfly would grant you blue butterfly powder. ELT is the best place to farm powder materials per NRG as all the 3 zones are able to spawn butterflies.
- Leaving a butterfly zone on the map once butterflies have spawned will cause any remaining ones to disappear. Finish collecting all the butterflies in a zone before leaving to maximize how much treasure you gather.
- You need a total of 39 Blue Butterfly Powder and 20 Red Butterfly Powder to craft all rewards.

Strategy[]
- Spirit Slayer is effective against the boss especially using Setzer's Double Dice.
- All abilities are magic and cannot be evaded by physical evasion.
- After using Press (99% HP) it will immediately end turn with no damage from Poison.
- Using elemental damage will make it change its elemental weakness.
- Spherimorph's elemental weakness disappears every turn.
- Units with non-elemental magic are helpful. Zyrus's Dualcast of Comet should speed things along without losing too much MP.
- Avoid bringing elemental weapons as they can be fully resisted and do nothing, unless you use imperil, or a like ability.
- Group element resist spells can be helpful. Spherimorph mainly uses ice, fire and lightning attacks. Bring the necessary bar-spells or Marie, Minfilia, and Carbuncle can help in this field.
- When using a non-elemental attack, Spherimorph will attack with Press and standard non-elemental hits instead of Elemental Shift and magic attacks.
