Griffins, which are half-eagle and half-lion, stand guard over treasure and view any approaching human as an aspiring thief, indiscriminately tearing them to pieces on sight. Each arrow fired by the user carries the spirit of the griffin, and as such inflicts an especially deep wound on any human target.
