Two alchemist brothers who appear in tales of a faraway world where alchemy is practiced. When they were young, Ed used forbidden alchemy and lost his left leg and right arm in the process. His younger brother Alphonse, however, lost his entire body. After Ed successfully transmuted Al's soul to a suit of armor, they set off on a journey seeking a way to return their bodies to normal. Although Ed's hot-headedness and Al's cool and collected nature do not seem to mesh well, they understand each other's struggles better than anyone. They also make for quite the tag team on the battlefield.

Tag Mechanics

  • Tag abilities allow a single unit to spark chain on their own without the aid of a duplicate unit or unit with a matching chain family.

Area Effect Mechanics

  • The area effects granted by Edward & Alphonse Elric's cooldown skill Focus on surviving! does not stack when a duplicate unit uses the same ability.
    • This ability will only affect allied party members. When an enemy Edward & Alphonse Elric uses this skill in Arena, the enemy party will grant its corresponding effects.
  • Area effects do not stack. Using a different skill, skills with a similar effect or evoking an Esper with the appropriate unit will overwrite the previous area effect.
