Abilities[]
- Blizzaga: Ice magic damage to all enemies
- Menace: Decreases elemental resistance to all enemies
- Death Claw: Multi hit physical attack to one unit
- Focusing power!: Idles a turn, uses Smash! the next turn
- Smash!: Massive physical damage to a single enemy. Used twice.
- Snowstorm: Ice magic damage to all enemies
- Hold: Inflicts Paralysis to a single enemy
- Crypt Dust: AoE Blind
- Enhance: Raises MAG to caster
Strategy[]
- Bring elemental resistance abilities like Barblizzara, Winter Ward (if you've beaten this at least once already), Omni-Veil, or Rainbow Veil.
- Cerius' Barblizzaga offers +70% ice resistance for 3 turns.
- Ice Armor and Ice Shield are useful for additional ice resistance (+50% ice resistance each).
- Shiva adds an additional +50% ice resistance, allowing a unit to potentially hit +100% ice resistance.
- Having a tank with Provoke and other similar abilities can prevent itself and other units from dying upon executing Smash! twice. Don't forget to buff DEF with Cheer or Embolden for a higher chance of survival.
- Chizuru's Hayate or Noctis' Point-Warp allows them to prevent being damaged by Smash!.
- Dread Frost is susceptible to Imperil.
- Chain fire element spells and abilities like Firaga, Heat Blitz or Fire Flask.
- Dread Frost is partially resistant to break abilities.
- Enhance boosts Dread Frost's MAG, it can be removed by using Dispel. But be warned that even stat and elemental resistance debuffs are removed and it needs to be re-applied again.
- The Chirijiraden and other fire elemental weapons are very useful.
- Like the Frostor and Horror Boxes, Dread Frost is a demon. Bring Demon Killer from Diabolos for extra damage.
