A small, land-dwelling dragon. While incapable of flight, the formidable strength in its legs and tail more than make up for any disadvantage it might find living on the ground. It is a carnivorous beast and dwells in the hills and mountains, feeding on any animals foolish enough to cross its path. Occasional sightings near its larger cousin, the dinosaur, led some to theorize that the two species might live in some sort of symbiotic relationship. But now we know that the diresaur, relatively unskilled hunter that it is, only lingers around a larger carnivore when it has hopes of snatching away the killer's prize.
