Challenge the raid boss in a raid event and obtain points to get various individual and ranked rewards. You will also get raid coins by fighting the raid boss, which can be used for limited time raid summons.

To fight the raid boss, one raid orb will be used. You will gain one orb per hour, for a maximum of five orbs. Orbs may be refreshed with 100 Lapis or by ranking up. You will obtain event points and coins (10% of points) by fighting the raid boss. The amount of points gained is based on the stage, the raid's global level and the amount of damage dealt to his HP in percentage. Defeating the boss is not required but doing so will net you the maximum amount of points, coins and experience.

The raid boss will have a global level and HP displayed within the vortex. This level indicates a bonus point multiplier (+8%/Level) that will be applied to points gained from each boss fights. Anyone on the server can contribute to this by fighting the raid boss. This takes into account damage dealt to its HP. Once its global HP is depleted, its level will go up and a few hours will be added to the timer. If the entire server is unable to kill it before time runs out, its level will decrease by one and the timer will reset. Keep in mind that the raid's global level has no impact on the raid boss itself, with the fight's difficulty remaining unchanged.

Story

Engels is a massive Goliath-class machine lifeform disguised as a building. The tremendous amounts of energy running through its body forces the unit to emit steam in order to stay cool. When attacking, the heat generated from its arms often causes them to become engulfed in flames. Thought to have been produced in limited numbers, multiple units were recently discovered at the Abandoned Factory - though they were eventually destroyed by black-box reactions from 2B and 9S.

Rewards

You can check your points and rank by clicking on "Achievement Status" inside the raid vortex. All rewards will be sent to your mailbox. Individual rewards can be collected as soon as you get enough points, but rank rewards will only be distributed once the event is finished.

• Engels' ability All Out Fire has a high chance to Paralyze all of your units. Consider bring an unit that can cure paralyze of your party or equip Lakshmi for Waking Protection ability. Zargabaath can use Archadian Light to buff and resist.
• Engels' ability Full Swing will ATK/MAG/DEF break all of your units. Consider using Bushido - Freedom or Dispelga to your party or any unit with break resist ability such as Tilith, Ilias, or Veritas of the Earth.
• ALL of Engels' attack deals physical damage, which can be evaded. One exception is the snort ability, which deals no damage. Many of those attacks are also AoE. Using an AoE cover tank like Warrior of Light or Veritas of the Earth is very effective against the boss.
• Two Fohlens with 600-700 ATK can duo ELT without taking any damage by using Sonic Blast every turn.
• Engels is susceptible to charm status.
• Susceptible to all breaks. Break his ATK to make the fight more survivable. Notable units:
  • Orlandeau - Crush Weapon
  • Warrior of Light - Arms Eraser
  • Fryevia - Ice Age
  • 9S - Purge: ATK/DEF
  • Ling - Daunting Step
• Engels can be killed by spamming any jump attack while below 60%. This way, Engels will use Crane Thrust, and only Crane Thrust.
• A counter tank like Wilhelm while constantly guarding is a slow, but effective method to defeat Engels should the rest of your team be wiped out.
• After Crane Thrust, you can get your removed character back the next round by force quit the game, and login again.
