Cressnik carries around a special siphon replete with curses and malignant energy that can absorb the very life essence of his enemies. Although the miasma within is quite deadly, Cressnik's prolonged exposure to it allows him to utilize his body as a filter, converting the virulent substance into restorative magic for his allies.

Background Story

NV A former white mage who became deeply immersed in arcane healing arts. Cressnik carries around a special siphon replete with curses and malignant energy that can absorb the very life essence of his enemies. Although the miasma within is quite deadly, Cressnik's prolonged exposure to it allows him to utilize his body as a filter, converting the virulent substance into restorative magic for his allies.

Notes

Gameplay

  • Players can test out his abilities as a Guest Unit through his Unit Intro Quest from 9/9 to 9/22 PST.
  • Any self-inflicting Light damage taken by Cressnik's multiple abilities and Limit Bursts will not be penalized towards the Total Damage Received criteria during Dark Visions events.
  • Any added or buffed resistance to Light elemental attacks granted to himself or his allies will reduce the amount of HP absorbed by the Magnus Ability, Shining Siphon.
  • The Hex-inflicting ability, Miasmic Pandemic is banned in the Arena.

Default Attack Changes

  • The passive ability Blessing of Caduceus permanently changes his default attack when upon reaching the prerequisite unit level. This will override the unit from using a standard normal attack.

Morale Ability Mechanics

  • Cressnik gains access to specific normal, cooldown abilities, Magnus Abilities and Limit Burst morale gauges or provide special effects. These skills are only available during Clash of Wills events and cannot be used on any other game modes, with the exception of his Limit Burst.
