A giant meat-eating centipede which lives underground. They usually stay hidden under rocks or shallow dirt. Once they find a target, they will pounce quickly like an arrow, and rend its prey to pieces with its sharp teeth. The cobaltpede can quickly regenerate severed parts, so defeating them can be quite a hassle. Many adventurers diving underground fear their existence and call them "the blue devil underground."
