Tips

- Tegmine's 1st form has physical immunity and its 2nd form (and 3rd Phase) have magical immunity.
- Hybrid and fixed type abilities, including Esper summons, can still damage Tegmine on all forms/phases.
- Tegmine Phase Thresholds: You can't damage Tegmine past a threshold in a single turn.
- 100-59% Phase 1

- After Phase 1, poison, paralyze, and disease resistance for all units becomes necessary.
- Suggested roles:
- Magic cover tank with light resistance (150%) for 1st phase
- Physical provoke tank with death resistance
- Physical cover full evade tank against its 2nd form before the 39% threshold
- ATK/MAG breaker
- Both magic and physical attacker; otherwise hybrid attacker.
- Stats/resistance/mitigation buffer
- Healer/Summoner with Reraise
- AoE Re-raise (E.G. Rikku, Yan, Lotus Mage Fina)
- If not planning to OTKO Tegmine at the start of phase 3, all active units must have at least 175% water resistance and Paralysis resistance (through innate resistances, equipment or buffs).
- When setting up your initial party, it is strongly recommended to have your Magic Tank, Breaker, and Healer in reserve units, as the ST Death in the preemptive strike can target one of these, making recovering very difficult.
- In phase 2 (59-39%), Tegmine's counter is also triggered by all counter attacks including Holy from Ring of the Lucii. Keep this in mind when building your 100% evasion provoke tank.
