How to unlock

You can unlock this optional dungeon to obtain an esper, Carbuncle. To unlock this dungeon, finish the following prerequisites:

• Clear Water Shrine dungeon (exploration is not required)
• Talk to the man in front of the house in the middle of Town of Amore
• Go to the cave north of Town of Amore for a cutscene and a battle
• Enter the cave and walk straight for a cutscene with Carbuncle
• Talk to the man in front of the house in the middle of Town of Amore
• Leave town, and Carbuncle Grove will be unlocked
