The captain confronts Arngrim, and the mercenary cannot bear to raise his sword against the man he regards as a father, so he takes his own life instead. |

- In the original game, he is the first Einherjar to join Lenneth and is one of the few who cannot be send to Valhalla. Arngrim, along with Mystina play an important role in the A ending of the game.
