This monster's beautiful plating looks like nothing so much as pure jade. And if it spots an interloper in its domain, it will erupt in fury and charge without mercy. The young look rather sweet, and so many have tried to tame them, but there have been no known successes. Scholars posit that the way they bash into one another in anger is the most advanced form of communication that they are capable of. If this is true, it is little wonder that they should never prove able to mingle with other species.
